GTM Container
Set up your Web GTM and Server GTM containers. Everything is served first-party from your tracking subdomain.
i Server GTM Container — Setup Steps
- Open Google Tag Manager → create a Server container (or use an existing one).
- In the Server container go to Admin → Container Settings and copy the Container Config string (starts with
aWQ9R1RNLVh...). - Paste the Container ID (
GTM-XXXXXXX) and the Container Config below, then enter your root domain (e.g.dreamify.com.bd). - Click Save. Your storefront immediately starts loading first-party GTM from
track.<domain>/gtm.js, and all GA4 / Facebook hits route through this subdomain. - (Optional) In GTM → Server container → Admin → Container URL, set the URL to https://track.<domain> so GTM Preview connects through your subdomain.
- Test in Live Events tab — you should see real events flowing within seconds.
